(Supplied on a CD) The original map (drawn at a scale of just under 4 inches to the mile) has been dated from the original publisher's date code.
As the cover states, the map includes the whole area of the three Boroughs together with Stretford and large portions of Oldham, Eccles, Swinton, Sale etc. Approximate coverage is from Prestwich and Middleton Junction on the north to the Heyhead and Bolshaw Outwood in the south and from Swinton and Timperley in the west to Droylesden & Stepping Hill in the east.
In addition to the map the CD contains a complete index of over 12,000 streets as included in the original publication.
An extra grid has been drawn on the map by a previous owner but this does not detract from readability.
The map is scanned onto the CD at 200 dpi as 20 overlapping tiles.
