Kelly's Directory of Nottinghamshire 1895

The book from the CD was taken from has come to us in good condition and unusually the map is still present and is included on the disk.

The directory comprises of Nottinghamshire information, such as the counties Magistrates and geology. Also there is the Trades & Professions directory (Alphabetically listed); Towns & Villages directory (Alphabetically listed) and Court directory (Alphabetically listed). The Court directory is the early version of what was later called the Residents directory, this list only listed the "top 10,000 residents" for the county. Nottingham however does have a street, private residents and commercial directory which are alphabetically listed.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight; this is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
