Kelly’s Directory of Hampshire & The Isle of Wight 1920

The original book used for scanning contained directories of Dorsetshire and Wiltshire as well as Hampshire & The Isle of Wight. The size has meant that it was necessary to publish the three counties separately. The size of the Hampshire & The Isle of Wight section means that it is published as a 2 CD set.
All of the advertisements in the original book have been included in each CD publication.
The map of Hampshire was missing when we obtained the original book but that of The Isle of Wight has survived and has been scanned to CD 2 at 200 dpi.
CD 1 contains: Indexes; Hampshire Information; Hampshire Towns and Villages Directory.
CD2 contains: Isle of Wight Map; Indexes; Advertisements; Isle of Wight Information; Isle of Wight Towns and Villages Directory; Hampshire & Isle of Wight Private Residents Directory; Hampshire & Isle of Wight Trades & Professional Directory.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
Some pages appear to be clipped. This is a result of having to angle them to compensate for skewed print.
